New in GATE 2013

GATE 2013 Application Process:

•   Only ONLINE application will be accepted through Seven IITs & IISC official website.

•   Print out of the filled ONLINE application with the candidate’s signature and  photo must be submitted to respective GATE office along with necessary documents, if any, on or before 8^th October 2012.

How to downloadable Admit Card:

•   Admit card can only be downloaded from the zonal GATE websites from 5^th December 2012 onwards.

Mode of Examination :

•   The ONLINE examination will be conducted for these papers (AE, AG, AR, GG, MN and TF).

•  The OFFLINE examination will be conducted for engineering streams.

Eligibility:

•    Pre-final year students are not eligible to write GATE 2013.

•    Candidate with B.E / B.Tech Degree ( 4 year degree ) are eligible.

•   Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent  are eligible.

•   Candidate with AMIE or AMICE degree are eligible.

Black ink ball point pen:

·        Candidates should use only black ink ball point pen for darkening of the bubbles in the answer sheet. 

Note:

• GATE 2013 Application Forms aren't available for sale anywhere.
• Bring at least one original (not photocopies / scanned copy ) and valid (not expired) photo identification with Admit Card to the test centre.
