CETK (Common Entrance Test Karnataka)

CETK (Common Entrance Test Karnataka) is conducted by the government of Karnataka to admit students in the first semester or first year of professional full-time courses like engineering, medical, technology, dental, architecture, homoeopathy, naturopathy & yoga, ayurveda, and unani within the state.

Application Mode
  • Application forms are available from the offices of the institutes participating in CETK. Candidates can also obtain the form by applying directly to the board of examination, along with a demand draft/NEFT/RTGS, drawn from a nationalized bank.

Eligibility Criteria Applicants need to complete senior secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from an institute recognized by the Karnataka state. Candidates appearing for standard XII board examination are also eligible to apply. The candidates need to have physics, chemistry, along with biology (for medical aspirants) or mathematics (for engineering aspirants) with a minimum of 50% in aggregate at +2 level. Students applying for a degree in architecture need to qualify in the NATA (National Aptitude test in Architecture) along with CETK. The minimum age of applicants is 17 years.
